Day one Fixtures for Uganda

9:22am: Uganda vs. Tunisia

11:20am: Uganda vs. Morocco

12:56pm: Uganda vs. South Africa

Head Coach Helen Buteme has announced her final twelve women rugby players who will represent Uganda at the Rugby Africa 7s in Tunisia from 16th to 17th September 2017  the tournament that will double as world Cup and Common wealth games qualifiers with the top two qualifying to Common wealth games and overall winner qualifying for the world cup.

The squad consists of:

Aisha Nakityo(Thunderbirds),Thereza Mudoola(Black Parthers),Gilder Azikuru (Walukuba Titans),Grace Auma (Walukuba Titans),Immaculate Mufuwa (Walukuba Titans),Juliet Nandaula (Entebbe Ladies),Yolanda Namagembe (Entebbe Ladies),Peace Lekuru (Entebbe Ladies),Peace Wokorach (Walukuba Titans),Samiya Ayikoru (Thunderbirds), Emily Lekuru (Walukuba Titans),and Flavia Agenorwot (Kitgum queens).

Uganda is seeded in Pool A with tournament hosts Tunisia, South Africa defending champions, and bottom seed Morocco,while Kenya, Zimbabwe, Senegal and Madagascar make up pool B.
