Tooro’s Leah Kagasa Set To Hand Over Miss Uganda Crown

After one year’s break, Miss Uganda beauty pageant is back on the scene following failure by organizers to conduct Miss Uganda contest for 2017/2018.

A beauty pageant or beauty contest is a competition that has traditionally focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants, although most contests have evolved to also incorporate personality traits, intelligence, talent, and answers to judges’ questions as judged criteria. It almost invariably referred only to contests for unmarried women such as Leah Kagasa, Stella Nantume, and many more.

Tooro’s Leah Kagasa is now set to handover the Miss Uganda crown after serving for two consecutive years.

Kagasa told our reporter that that she is ready to hand over the Crown to some other suitable candidate and is ready to support her in any way. The event is scheduled August 10th 2018.
