Spin Master DJeff Afrozila To Churn Magic At Club Major Lazer After-Party

For those who thought the much anticipated Club Major Lazer concert will be the only way Ugandans will be ushering in the Independence day on 8th October, brace yourselves for there is more for you as organisers have lined up Djeff Afrozila one of Africa’s most prolific Afro-house DJs representing Portugal-Angola, to spin more magic at the official Major Lazer After-party at Chief Club in Bukoto.

The much-hyped concert featuring international electronic and house superstar trio Major Lazer is powered by Club Pilsener to celebrate and bring to life the brand’s new and exciting thematic campaign and will take place on Monday 8th October 2018 at Sheraton Gardens.

The star-studded lineup for the main party will feature some of Uganda’s very best like Fik Fameica aka Fresh Bwoy, the versatile ragga and dancehall star A Pass the GOAT, as well as Ragga maffin Beenie Gunter Nanyinini Work among others.

The Major Lazor trio will be here on Monday October 8th.

Also joining the stars on the day will be The Silverback DJ, DJ RPM and DJ BK be behind the wheels of steel to keep the stage heated up at all times.

After the concert all roads will then lead to Bukoto. ­Entrance for the after party is set at 25,000/- and party kicks off after main concert at Sheraton Gardens.

ABOUT DJEFF AFROZILA

Born in Lisbon, Portugal In 1984, DJeff Afozila to Cape Verde and Angolan mother has fused the sounds that helped shape him both as an artist and as a person. All colors of house music are welcome into his music production echoing Africa, Europe, America and Asia.

In his early childhood while growing up in Lisbon, he was exposed to Michael Jackson and in Europe, to Michael Bolton, Brian Adams, and many others. While his African heritage meant he kept a closely knit connection with his roots with bands such as Kassav, Tabanka Jazz, Livity, Grace Evora, Eduardo Paim, among others having a big influence in his taste and later style of music selection.

DJeff Afrozila will be spinning all the magic at the Major Lazer After-party.

He made his first contact with electronic music via his sister introducing him to the likes of Robin S, Reel 2 Real, Sizequeen, Daft Punk, Armand Van Helden – and it was an instant and everlasting crush.

He then fell in love with DeeJaying at an early stage and started playing at school parties while learning from experienced DJs on bigger turn tables. He later moved to Angola in 2008 to start professional DJ work and settled till this day. As they say, the rest is history.
