Sheebah Karungi Wins Best Female East African at AFRIMMA

The team no sleep singing diva Sheebah Karungi is adding an AFRIMMA honor to her awards cabinet.

Sheebah was named the Best Female East Africa artiste in the just concluded 2018 AFRIMMA awards that took place over the weekend at House of Blues Dallas, Texas-USA.

The ‘ Bela nange’ hit maker who had been competing against other talented female singers from the region like Victoria Kimani (Kenya), Vanessa Mdee (Tanzania), Leyla Kayondo (Uganda), Knowles Butera (Rwanda), Rema (Uganda), Akothee (Kenya), Nandy (Tanzania), Juliana Kanyomozi (Uganda) and Charly & Nina (Rwanda) for the prestigious award.

Sheebah joins the likes of Eddy Kenzo and Ykee Benda who all emerged winners at the awards event.

Where Kenzo was voted Best Male East Africa while YKee Benda bagged Best Newcomer.
