Sheebah Excites Fans At Ice Cream And Cake Festival Despite Setbacks

Last Sunday, the organizers of the second edition of the Ice cream and cake festival were all smiles and went back home praising the lord for a successful event. This was a different case with the first edition which had a few revellers, little ice cream and was more disorganized.

Uganda Museum was definitely the place to be yesterday with revellers accessing the venue as early as 10am and being more of a children’s event, the little ones had to be more than the adults and they really had a great time. From bouncing castles, to tasting all kinds of ice cream for free and enjoying great performances from several artistes.

Both upcoming and established artistes performed but it was Sheebah who wowed up the crowd with her tracks. Of course for obvious reasons, she had to start with ‘Ice cream’ , then following it up with others like ‘Tonzoleya’, Wadawa’, Nkwatako’, ‘Tunywe’, ‘Ndiwanjalo’ and ‘Akusse’ among others. She was still continuing if it was not for the disorganization of the machines which kept going on and off until she couldn’t handle it no more.

Sheebah dances with fans at the Ice Cream and Cake Festival.

More so, she even spared about 3 minutes when the machines had gone off to lead the audience into singing some song halfway before moving off stage.

Earlier on, Latinum, a new dancehall musician also worked the crowd with songs like ‘Man away’, ‘Baabo’ and ‘Amanya gange’.

In this particular edition, more ice cream was given to the revellers for free and they had the opportunity of tasting different flavours unlike last edition where only one supplier showed up.

If the second edition is anything to go by, then this is another event worth looking out for I future besides Blankets and wine, Muchomo festival and Roast and Rhyme in that category of events.
