Musician Chris Evans Kaweesi who was clobbered by robbers last week is now doing fine and set to hit the stage again this weekend.
The singer who has been at his mother’s place in Munyonyo on bed rest has also decided to sell his car, a Toyota Wish.
This after he was clobbered in the car with a hammer. The robbers then left him for dead and later abandoned the car in Mutundwe where Police recovered it.
Speaking about the incident, Evans told us that he has decided to sell his car as it brings bad memories to him.
‘I want to work on it because they destroyed some of the parts in front and behind. Then I will sale it off because it makes me remember that night every time I see it,’ the singer said.
‘Also, I don’t feel safe in that car anymore,’ he added.
Although some say that Chris Evans was coming from seeing a woman whose hubby set out goons to beat him up, the singer insists that he had gone to Nansana for a haircut only to be followed by the goons who assualted him.
We will keep you posted.
