Singer Robert Kyagulanyi has finally found the guy who helped him escape the police yesterday afternoon in the city center.
The guy who has been identified as John Mugalu gave the Kyadondo East Member of Parliament his jacket and cape to disguise himself as he found his way to parliament during the social media and mobile money tax demonstration in Kampala dubbed “This tax must go”.
The black jacket and cape assembly helped the musician to find his was to parliament without being identified.
The “kyarenga” singer took it to social media to ask his followers to help find the “kind” guy who came to his rescue.
“I have finally found the brother. So young, patriotic and fearless, thank you Mugalu John for playing your part in the struggle. With young people like you, this generation will surely achieve liberation in our lifetime,” he said after finding him.
Bobi together with other celebrities yesterday morning hit the streets of Kampala to demonstrate against the unpopular social media and mobile money tax that was introduced by government on 1st July.
