Bobi Wine Determined To Hold His Easter Monday Concert Despite No Police Clearance

Last year, Bobi Wine held few events after he was stopped by police on allegations that he didn’t clear with them. It was the 2018 Boxing Day event that hurt him so much especially after his counterpart Bebe Cool was cleared to go ahead and have his at Kiwatule on the same day.

The same incidence is more likely to happen again this Easter Monday as the Kyadondo East Member of Parliament insists police is trying to block his Easter Monday concert.

During a press conference that Bobi held earlier today in Kamwokya, he said that his management and promoters have written to Uganda Police several times requesting for approval of his concerts slated to take place at One Love Beach-Busaabala, and in other areas across the country like Arua, Gulu and Lira, but the police has never responded to any of their letters

But he also added that whether they reply or not, he will go ahead and organize as well as perform everywhere he is advertised to perform because they went through the right channels to have police clear them.

Bobi Wine is one of the most sought after artistes in Uganda and every concert he is advertised on is most definitely a sell-out.
